A Wine, Beer, Seafood and Music Festival
This award winning Wine, Beer, Seafood, and Music Festival offers different styles of music merging and flowing together throughout the two day festival. Oregon wineries and breweries vend their respective products and food vendors serve culinary delights of the Oregon Coast. A variety of musicians perform.

Memorial Day Celebration - Reedsport
May 29 - 30, 2010


Memorial Day Weekend
“Honoring Veterans - Past, Present, & Future” is the theme for this most honorable of holidays. The celebration is very special with performances by the 29 Palms Marine Corps Air Combat Center Band on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday in Reedsport and Winchester Bay. A Memorial Day Parade and Service will take place with the Paratroopers jumping into the Memorial Service with a 35’X65’ American Flag, and fly-bys and participation from other Armed Forces. The parade will include groups and individuals of all ages and all are welcome to participate. Following the Memorial Service will be displays and booths to visit, and a BBQ to enjoy.

Oregon Divisional Chainsaw Sculpting Championships - Reedsport

Fathers Day Weekend
The 11th Annual Oregon Divisional Chainsaw Sculpting Championship takes place in Reedsport over Father’s Day weekend. Chainsaw artists from around the world take “Art to the Extreme.” This championship captures the amazement of everyone that attends. Quick carves and carving auctions will take place daily. In addition there is a vendor fair including crafts and different kinds of food. It is an event to plan for!

Oceanfest - Winchester Bay
July 16-18, 2010


Come on over and enjoy three fun filled days at the Coast. Live Music, Beach Blvd. Bazaar, children's Parade, Open House at the shops, Famous Seafood Barbecue, Games for young and old. Coast Guard Demonstrations...Kayak races on the Umpqua River. A summer's worth of fun packed into three days.


Old Time Fiddlers Jamboree - Winchester Bay
August 19-22, 2010


The Oregon Old Time Fiddlers District 5 will be hosting its Fifth Annual Old Time Music Jamboree at the Winchester Bay Community Center in Winchester Bay in August. Last year's event attracted over 100 musicians and had enthusiastic audiences. We expect this year to be even better!

Musicians from all over Pacific Northwest and Northern California will be singing and playing fiddles, guitars, banjos and mandolins at the Grange Hall, the Gazebo, camp grounds and on the docks around town. Get ready to hear a wide variety of music including country, Cajun, swing, bluegrass, folk, waltzes and old time tunes. Open jam sessions will be going on all day long, with concerts at the Grange Hall every evening at 6:00pm. Admission is by donation. There will be a Gospel show on Sunday to close the event.

DuneFest - Winchester Bay
August 4 - 8, 2010


Ovation Award winner of “The Best Sporting Event in Oregon”. This five-day event is filled with exciting fun activities including adult and kid activities, Moto Cross Racing, Sand Drags, Poker Run, Treasure Hunt, Show N’ Shine, Drive-In Movie Night, Charity Auction, Freestyle Shows, evening entertainment featuring Rock The Dunes Friday and Saturday nights. Vendor Row offers ATV’s, clothing, crafts, ATV accessories, and food booths.

DuneFest offers A Kid’s Safe ATV Riding Area, Non Ethanol Gasoline, premium fuel 92 octane, available in Salmon Harbor at the fuel dock, and a free shuttle bus service from Winchester Bay.

With the help of hundreds of volunteers, DuneFest is the premiere ATV sand event in the country. DuneFest is a family-friendly atmosphere and boasts the slogan: “THE MOST FUN A FAMILY CAN HAVE IN THE SAND.”

Kool Coastal Nights - Winchester Bay
August 28-29, 2010


The fun starts on Friday with the Burnout and Open Header Contests - hope you like LOUD cars and LOTS of smoke!! Saturday the cars are powdered and permed for the Show 'n Shine and Parade of Champions. There's also a Harbor Cruise for those who are nostalgic for the 50's. Bring your favorite gal or guy and shake your stuff at the Street Dance. Don't forget the famous Sea Food BBQ. Come Kool off at the coast and enjoy all the HOT cars!

Crab Bounty Hunt - Winchester Bay
September 4, 2010 (Labor Day Weekend) - October 1, 2010

The unique partnership made up of The Reedsport/Winchester Bay Chamber of Commerce, The Bureau of Land Management Coos Bay District, The US Forest Service, The City of Reedsport, The Confederated Tribes of the Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians, and the Reedsport School District presents this five day festival that highlights the common goals of watershed restoration, education, and economic development. The Tsalila Festival stimulates an appreciation for salmon, the watersheds in which we live, and our cultural heritage. The first three days of Tsalila are educational days where 2,500 schools kids, ranging from 2nd through 5th grade, experience a variety of educational stations and displays. A traditional alder-smoked salmon dinner, complete with squash, corn and fry bread, is offered during the weekend.

S.T.E.P. Salmon Derby - Winchester Bay
Labor Day Weekend


Sponsored by Gardiner/Reedsport STEP (Salmon-Trout Enhancement Program) this event is timed to coincide with the fall Chinook salmon run. Daily prizes awarded for the biggest salmon. Local tackle shops have registration forms and rules.

Tsalila - Reedsport

Holiday Bazzar & Gingerbread House Contest
December 2010


Hand-crafted items are sold by craftspeople from across the state. This event is held at the Community Center in Reedsport. Kids can visit with Santa Claus. All can vote for their favorite Gingerbread House and shop for special handcrafted gifts.
